About Me

I am a Counselling Psychologist and the Founder of The Happy Mindset, with a passion for making psychology more accessible, practical, and meaningful.

With over 4 years of experience in counselling psychology, I have worked with children, adolescents, young adults, and students across a range of emotional, behavioural, academic, and personal concerns. I currently work as a School Counsellor, where I support children and adolescents with their emotional well-being, personal development, academic stress, relationships, and other challenges.

My journey in psychology has shaped my belief that therapy is not about giving people all the answers. It is about creating a safe space where individuals can understand themselves, explore their experiences, and find their own way forward.

My Philosophy

"I believe that everyone deserves a space where they can be heard without judgment."

Psychology is more than a degree or a set of techniques. It is about understanding people, their experiences, their emotions, and the stories that shape them.

Through The Happy Mindset, my aim is to create a space where people can seek support, learn, grow, and understand themselves better.

Because taking care of your mind is not a luxury — it is a part of taking care of yourself.

Our Journey

The Idea Behind The Happy Mindset

It started with noticing a gap.

During my internship after completing my Master’s in Psychology, I began to understand the realities of working in the mental health field. I saw how difficult it could be to find the right internships, meaningful opportunities, training, and clients, especially for psychology students and aspiring mental health professionals.

At the same time, I realised that mental health awareness is still greatly needed. People continue to struggle with understanding their thoughts, emotions, relationships, stress, and themselves, while many do not know where or how to seek the right support.

I also came across the challenges faced by psychologists and therapists, such as limited opportunities, inadequate professional support, and the struggle to build a sustainable career in mental health.

As I explored the field further, I noticed another gap: psychology students were learning the theory, but often lacked opportunities for practical exposure, skill development, and real-world learning.

That is where the idea of The Happy Mindset (THM) began.

I wanted to build something that could bridge the gap between people and mental health, and between psychology education and practical experience.

Through THM, I started working towards bringing mental health awareness and psychological learning into schools, colleges, corporates, NGOs, and communities through workshops, training, counselling, and awareness programs.

My own journey has also involved continuously learning and training through online courses, professional training, workshops, and practical experiences, because I believe psychology is a field of lifelong learning.
